Q. What does the Abodase Network provide me as a Property Owner?
A. Abodase is a listing service that puts prospective renters in contact with owners.

Q. Can I add my website URL?
A. If you sign up as a Property Manager the answer is YES, otherwise the answer is No. You can do so when you set up your account. You will also be able to upload your company logo for branding purposes.



Q. I have an Abodase Account and I would like to list only my listings on my website. How do I do this?
A. Once you are logged in to Abodase you can add the Abodase RSS code to your site by clicking on the at any time located on the footer of every page of the Abodase site. Select the RSS Feed that was generated for your listings. You will need to input the RSS Feed into an RSS reader similar to the one found here.

Q. How do I receive rental requests?
A. You will be notified of a rental request by:

  1. If a prospective renter fills out the online request form form from your property page an email request will be sent to your email address used upon sign-up.
  2. They can phone you if you have posted your phone number and made it visible to the public.

Q. What am I bound to provide?
A. The rental agreement you have with renters is entirely your business. Abodase is strictly a listing service putting renters in contact with owners. Please refer to our terms of use for further information.

Q. How do renters pay?
A. Again, this is entirely up to you. Abodase is just putting you in contact with the renters.

Q. How can I screen renters?
A. You can put specific requirements in your 1500 word description.

Q. How do I edit my listing(s)?
A. You can edit your listings by logging into your Abodase Account and clicking on the edit link on the property listing.

Q. How many times can I edit my listing?
A. As much as you like.

Q. How many properties can I list?
A. As many as you like.

Q. How much does it cost to activate a listing?
A. Activation rates found here.

Q. How do I pay for my listings?

A. Visa or MasterCard.

Q. I am getting an error message. Who do I contact?
A. Please email support@abodase.com with the following information:
  1. Copy of the error
  2. Your ID (email address)
  3. Your operating system (Are you using a MAC or PC)?
  4. Your browser (Explorer, Netscape etc..)

Q. I forgot my password.

Q. What if my city is not listed?
A. We have tried to include all cities in North America. For now, just use the next closest major city. If you notify us here we can add the missing city for you.

Q. Is my personal information secure?
A. Yes. The only information given to potential renters is what you have authorized as visible in your listing. You have the option to display your name and phone number.
